Defense Verdict Secured for OB/GYN Physician and Practice Group
Jeff Brinker and Bridgette Fu obtained a defense verdict for an OB/GYN physician and his practice group after a week-long jury trial in St. Louis County, MO. The plaintiff argued she experienced a dehiscence after undergoing robotic-assisted surgery because the surgeon failed to perform an appropriate post-surgical examination and released her to resume normal activities too soon. The defense argued that the dehiscence was caused by the Plaintiff’s failure to follow post-surgical instructions, which ultimately led to her injury. The jury returned a defense verdict in favor of the physician and his practice group in less than an hour.
