Harper Obtains Verdict $250,000.00 Less Than Plaintiffs’ Demand

This was an automobile accident case with admitted liability and plaintiff husband was in ICU for six days following the accident.  Wife had more minor injuries.  Combined medical expenses exceeded $160,000.00.  Harper argued plaintiff husband had a good recovery and that the continuing problems were due to preexisting conditions.  The jury agreed and returned with verdicts for husband and wife totaling $75,000.00.  The demand prior to trial was $325,000.00.
